Greetings, and thank you for inquiring about my wine classes! Let me start by saying I’ve been producing, slinging, and selling wine since 2009.
With this background, I have been coordinating educational wine classes for industry colleagues since 2017 and have been teaching broadly since 2020.
This experience is helpful because EVERY class can be bespoke, and we can cover whatever you want!
Classes can vary in length but 1 to 2 hours is typical, depending on the number of attendees and questions. I aim to make wine approachable and fun, so classes are casual unless otherwise requested.
Because of laws and licensing, I am strictly teaching and guiding. In other words, I am unable to provide or serve the wine or food. However, I happily work with the host to recommend wines and foods for a fabulous gathering! This can work out the be cost effective because we are not tied to any sort of sponsor, importer, or producer! You have the flexibility to buy wine and food in your budget!
In-Person:
Pricing starts at $50. This is for 1 or 2 people.
For a group of 3-5, it is $20 per person.
For a group of 6-10, it is $18 per person.
I am also happy to work with larger groups, clubs, organizations, and/or businesses!
If traveling more than 10 miles, I use the IRS Travel Reimbursement Rate of $0.655 to calculate travel costs which get added to the base fee plus tolls.
Hopefully that covers it, but please let me know if you have any questions!
